So, after a rather exhaustive amount of concept art and construction tests, I've come to the conclusion that Callahan v.3.0 is not feasible from an aesthetic standpoint. Revolvers inherently have a certain style, and trying to redesign them so they look more 'futuristic' tends to be rather counter-productive.

Thus, the Callahan is being scaled back from v.3.0 to v.2.1, retaining the same overall style as v.2.0, but changing a few sections to make the design better. Most of these changes will be to the trigger and hammer, although the frame locking mechanism will probably also be modified.

I'm reasonably confident that v.2.1 will be successful, and that I'll finally be able to put this design to rest and get back to work on other projects.
