Measuring an incredible six feet long, the Devastator railgun is arguably the most powerful personnel-portable weapon in the Overwatch arsenal.
Essentially a shoulder-mounted, long-range artillery piece, the Devastator operates in much the same fashion as the Farsight. A small fusion power cell at the front below the barrel supplies power, while a 50-round box magazine at the rear holds the 1"x6" caseless slug ammunition. Utilizing advanced recoil-suppression technology and extremely powerful electromagnetic rails, the Devastator is capable of accelerating slugs to a maximum velocity of c (the speed of light) to the 9.7th power. Between the projectile's high density and enormous velocity, the Devastator is capable of punching holes in virtually any type of personnel or vehicle armor, even through moderate shielding. The weapon has a maximum effective range of approximately 500 miles.
Facilitating the primary function of the Devastator, a mounting rail on one side of the main body allows for the attachment of a large scope. Like the Farsight, the standard scope is capable of standard, night-vision, infra-red, ultra-violet, and density-penetrating t-wave modes, allowing the user to see in virtually any conditions.
Although rarely used, the Devastator incorporates a flashlight below the barrel, and a triplet of laser sights around the barrel, both activated from the control panel on the side of the weapon. This panel incorporates a small screen and several other controls that enable the user to select the velocity and firing mode.
The Devastator has only a single-shot mode of fire, but within that mode is capable of firing up to five rounds per second. Empty magazines are ejected by pressing a small button just above the magazine box port at the rear.
Nicely modeled, but I must say the description lost me at the mention of the speed of light to the 9th power... and lost me further at the suggestion that more-than-moderate sheilding or a mere 500 miles could make a projectile traveling at this reality-shattering speed useless. nine times the speed of sound I could've accepted, though.
Fair enough - I was more than a little sleep-deprived when I came up with that description. I really ought to go back and change those numbers so they're less outrageous.

I don't think there was a single part of that description that even SEEMED realistic.
